Whether you love Twilight or you hate it, you can't help but believe that there is a spoof of the book Twilight called Nightlight written by the Harvard Lampoon and it's out now.

here's what the front cover looks like: http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/dd72/Disneyforme/Nightlight.jpg

And the summary of the story: A super boring, klutzy girl named Belle Goose leaves her home (and mother) to go live with her father in Switchblade, Oregon. But then something happens; she meets this guy called Edwart Mullen, and he's the weirdest guy she's ever seen! He's a genius who doesn't like girls, and yet he saves Belle from getting flattened by a giant snowball. Belle discovers that Edwart is a vampire and she will stop at NOTHING to become his eternal bride.

I read that book and I laughed my butt off. I haven't read anything this funny since Bored of the Rings (also written by The Harvard Lampoon, which spoofs Lord of the Rings)

And if you have read the book, let's chat here. And if not, please do, because you'll die laughing.

Well, let's just say it's not authorized by SMeyer at that. But it *IS* a legal parody of Twilight.

SparkleViolet, is this book already published around the world? My friend would for sure be the first to read it. Sounds hilarious! Twilight fans can choose not to be offended if they do read it... hahaha....that's almost impossible. Anyways we can all be open-minded...

Well, I wish I knew if it were published around the world.

And being a Twilight fan, I DID find the book funny.

Yeah, it would be sad if the Twilighters hated the book, because it's funny.

OMGOSH! My friend had this book at lunch and it looked really good. I'm borrowing it once my other friend finishes it, and I'm pretty excited. She let me read a few passages and they are great.
