The Boy Sherlock Holmes mysteries revolves around the childhood of a famous fictional figure: Sherlock Holmes. The series introduces Holmes as a 13-year old boy, intent on seeking justice in the darkest parts of London. (It's what you would find in a plot summary)
I think the series is absolutely genius and the plot is so compelling. The amazing author who wrote this is Shane Peacock, and he replies very quickly to his fan emails.
