We haven't had a Charlie Bone RP in a while, so I thought I would give it a go. Hope you like it.

Charlie and the gang have left school long ago, and the year is 2120. There have been advances in technology, medicine, and other sciences, but the endowed are still a mystery to people who don’t attend Bloors academy. And yes, Bloors academy is still standing, under the rule of the Bloor family. Manfred’s great-great grandson is the headmaster.

One new thing is that there is a new department added to the regular art, drama and music. The new department is sports, and their color is red. Anyone who excels in sports can now attend Bloor’s academy too. But the capes are still around.

So if Manfred has descendants, do the others? Yep. Most of their great-great-great grandchildren are currently enrolled in Bloor’s academy. Not all are endowed though, some turned out normal. They still have Red King blood in them though; it just didn’t give them an endowment.

You may be thinking by now, that with the descendants of the gang all in the school, something is bound to happen, right? Oh how right you are. Remember that not only are the descendants of the good guys there, the bad guy’s have descendants there too. And the baddie’s kids are taking after their ancestors and attempting to be Skarpo back. Again. Uh-oh….

They are all related, they all have powers, and they all have their own sides. It’s a family war, and they aren’t all playing fair…

* * * * * *
So, that’s the basic plot line. Some other important things:
* Your character doesn’t have to be endowed.
* Each character can only be the descendant of one of the Charlie Bone characters. This way we don’t fight over who ended up with who.
* Good guy’s descendants can be on the bad side and bad guy’s descendants can be on the good side.
* Keep the endowments creative please!

* * * * *

Name: Johanna Vertigo

Nickname: Jo, Joey (prefers to be called by her full first name)

Gender: Female

Age: 15

Endowment: Shapeshifting, but only little bits at a time. Cannot completely change her appearence - only things like her hand or her leg or something.

Physical Description: Her hairstyle is constantly changing, and wash in - wash out hair dye is a regular possesion of Johanna's. Grey eyes, quite tall, always wearing an odd pair of ratty converses. She doesn't have a certain style - she wears whatever she picks out. She could be goth one day and manically girly the next.

Personality: Loud, not afraid to speak her mind. Speaks sarcastically, and only speaks 'normal' to her friends.

Descendant Of: Olivia Vertigo

Name: Fiona Endless

Nickname: Fi (pronounced Fee)

Gender: Female

Age: (16 or under please) 14

Endowment: Mind Powers - Telekinesis and Telepathy

Physical Description: Fi is very Gothic, her looks lending to it perfectly. Her hair is naturally straight, but very messy and is a very dark brown, looking nearly black. She enjoys colouring it many bright colours in streaks. Generally she wears loose shirts and tees and baggy jeans. Fi is pretty average in looks, not being startlingly beautiful nor very tall or skinny or anything. She is pretty average. Her nose is a little large for her face and slightly hooked, but not to the point of looking like Snape in Harry Potter. Her eyes are her most striking feature. They are a sea green which stand out startlingly against the blackness of her clothing and hair.

Personality: Although she enjoys looking gothic, Fi is actually quite wacky and bubbly. She's very expressive and wears her emotions on her sleeves, but often transfers it into her artwork, so you need only look at her artwork to know how she was feeling that day. She is quite calm when she needs to be and she never seems to get angry unless someone insults her family or friends.

Descendant Of: Dagbert <3

Department: Art

Background: Her family life is quite troubled and that has led her to being as expressive as she is. She is descended from Dagbert Endless on her Mother's side. When she was twelve, Fi's Dad literally ditched the family and ran off, leaving Fi and her Mother to cope on their own. She was always musical and sporty as a child, but Art took precedence over everything, for Fi. Her Mother is also an artist, and together they have decorated the outside of their house with an amazing mural of Freadwardbobert'mchammerhimesmitopolis. Fi has always been like her Mother, and enjoys living with the two of them. Fi used to have a younger brother when she was ten, but he was knocked over by a car and was bashed up pretty badly. The two were very close and Fi has always taken it very hard.

Other: Good

Name: Hailey Maria Garcia

Nickname: Hailey, Hail

Gender: Female

Age: 14

Endowment: Electrical manipulation. Can send bolts of electricity, create electrical force-fields, and control electrical appliances.

Physical Description: Hailey is Hispanic. She has tanned skin, and her hair is black and shiny. It has a slight wave and reaches to her waist. Her eyes are a nice dark-chocolate brown. She has a very tomboy style, with lots of baggy shorts and T-shirts, but does have her punk pieces she likes to mix in. Wears her hair in general ponytails or with a headband, just to keep it out of her face.

Personality: Has a boy-ish attitude to match her boy-ish style. She is tough, loyal, and impulsive. She is very relaxed, except when it comes to her sports, and really doesn’t like being discriminated because she is a girl. She can be as aggressive as any boy if you push her to be, and does have a temper. But usually she is easy going and fun to hang around. Can be a troublemaker in the classroom. There isn’t a single girly bone in her body. She has a lot of guy for friends and not many girls for friends.

Descendant Of: Naren Bloor

Department: Sports

Background: Hailey’s mom’s side is from Puerto Rico, and her father’s is from Argentina. Her dad takes a lot of business trips to many different countries, and her mom works full-time running the family restaurant Delicioso. She has a younger brother and a younger sister who are twins. They are three, and on the weekends Hailey often has to babysit them.

Other: Fully on the good side, without a doubt in her mind. She is bilingual, speaking Spanish and English, and she is very fluent in both. The trouble with that is that she frequently switches from one language to the other without even realizing it, and will go on in Spanish until she catches on to the confused looks she gets. Is a fantastic sports player, within the top three players in the school, but being one of few girls in the sports department she isn’t given much credit.

(( I think we have enough people to start. If you want to, just hop in! Also, I just wanted to say you can have your character be new or you could have gone to Bloor's for a few years. And we'll be starting at the beginning of the school year.))

"Hailey Maria! You're going to be late for school!" Hailey's mother called up the stairs in her sharp hispanic accent. Hailey glanced at the clock. "Oh crap..." Hailey groaned, pulling on her favorite navy lacrosse shorts and slipping on her light blue soccer camp T-shirt. She was glad her mom had made her pack her suitcase last night. It never took her long to get ready, but she had overslept half an hour later than she was supposed to wake up, and the bus was about to arrive.

She ran down the stairs with her bag, tying her long hair up in a messy ponytail. She grabbed a quick piece of toast off the counter, hugged her mother, and zipped out the door. "Oh, my cape! Where is it..." she exclaimed, rustling through her bag. The bus driver wouldn't let her on the bus without her cape on. Just as the bus came around the corner and pulled to a stop, Hailey tied her cape around her neck and slipped onto the red bus. Red was the sports department's color, it was the color of their bus, cape, and most of their equipment.

Hailey collapsed in a seat, glad she made it. Missing the bus meant missing a week of school, and that was never a good thing. Especially since if she had missed the bus today, she would have missed her first week of this school year. And that would not have been good.

Fiona Endless was sat in her kitchen, finishing the breakfast omelettes that she was making for herself and her mother. It was just the two of them in their little house just outside of Freadwardbobertmc'hammerhimesmitopolis. It was the first day back at school and Fi was getting really excited at the prospect of seeing all her old friends at Bloor's and making lots of new friends this year. She was already in her uniform, having jazzed it up a bit under the emerald cape she wore; Fi was an Art student at Bloor's.

Her mother had also been at Bloor's as a child and had also been a gifted Art student. Together, the two made all sorts of massive artworks. Fi's favourite was a statue that she and her mother had sculpted of a Dragon that stood on a stone beside the little pond in their back garden. She and her Mother were incredibly close, due to the fact that it was always the two together, living almost in seclusion from Bloor's.

"Hey Ma! Come on, your omelette's getting cold!" Fi called up the winding staircase in the middle of their kitchen. Her mother came bounding down the stairs, face already smudged with paint; she had evidently been struck by inspiration, as was so typical of the Endless pair, and hadn't been able to escape from the idea until she painted it.

The two sat, chatting until Fi's watch beeped. "Sorry ma, I have to go. If I don't go now, I'll never make it, especially as the bus doesn't come down this way. Love you, see you on Friday, ok?"

Grabbing her school bag and suitcase, she hastily kissed her mother goodbye and strapped her bags onto the back of her bike and cycled off, flicking her hair out of her eyes. Fi's hair, today, was a mixture of Blues, Purples, Greens and Reds, a colourful tribute to school. She loved colouring her hair, just because she could and thought it was fun.

After half an hour of tough cycling uphill, Fi arrived in Freadwardbobertmc'hammerhimesmitopolis. She smiled with relief as she saw Bloor's looming closely. Putting on a burst of speed, she began to cycle enthusiastically up to the gates, racing with the Green Art Bus along the road as she came into the forecourt of the magnificent school building.

As Fi padlocked her bike in the bike shed, she saw the Red Sports Bus drawing in. Grinning broadly, she grabbed her suitcase jollily and slung her multi-coloured school-bag over her shoulder, she went and sat on the top step of the stone steps leading up to the school doors, waiting for her friend, Hailey.

Gail Heart was already in the court yard of the academy reading by the fountain and levitating slightly as the students flowed into the courtyard. Her cape hung down her back like a super hero cape. "No Capes!" she thought to her self with a smirk. She had rode her bike here early thinking that she was late and went off without her drawing pencil case. She thought about flying back home really quick to grab it but she didn't need to scare anymore civilians than normal. The buses began to pull in. Music first then Drama then art and Sports brought up the rear. She sighed and dropped back down to the stone pavement. She picked up her duffel bag and backpack. It would be time to go in soon.

Austin had been up, doing his usual Monday morning tasks: take a quick shower, prepare and eat breakfast, do a last minute check up on his suitcase, and always some free time. Before he slammed his suitcase shut and zipped it, he put on his royal blue cape over his school uniform. Austin would’ve been eligible to sign up for art too but he felt a closer attachment to music.

His older brother, Mark, had already left for the campus and scrawled a note for him, “Take care and good luck on your first day back. See you Friday. Your brother, Marcus Frederick Torsson.” He always signed his full name when writing messages to Austin. Mark willingly offered his time and care all the time, ever since their parents disappeared in Austin’s 2nd year at Loth’s Academy. Now they were living in a rented apartment in the city, until Mark decides to afford a better home using their parents' money. This year would be Austin’s 3rd year at Bloor’s, and he has had a peaceful time so far, except maybe for a few conflicts here and there with people who were determined make his already miserable life even more terrible than it needed to be.

Pulling his suitcase, carrying his violin case, and wearing his black backpack, Austin slipped into the blue bus and found a seat in the back. He closed his eyes, listening to his iPod and making small conducting movements with his arms. Only when the bus jerked to a stop in front of the stone building, did he put his music away and dragged his things into the school, its familiar shadows on the corridor walls welcoming him in for another year.

Then remembering that he was suppose to be in the Assembly Hall for today's music lesson, Austin muttered, "Shoot," and bolted to the Music Room where he put down his things, and carefully took his violin and bow out. Then he ran to backstage, and found his seat close to the front and placed his music binder on the stand. Then he tuned his violin like everyone else was doing, hoping that no teacher noticed that he was nearly late for their last minute rehearsal. All musicians in the orchestra were expected to practice the Assembly pieces over the summer. Soon, his fellow musicians being to chat among themselves.

After a quick breakfast made by the cook, Jazzy Bloor had gone to the Music Room. He had been playing on his guitar most of the morning and lost track of time. It was only when one of the music teachers arived he realized he was running late.

Jazzy ran back to his room for his soft blue cloak. Neither of his parents, nor his older brother, had been in music. They had all been drama students, albeit not very good, and never really had time for Jazzy's muscal talent.

His other talent though ... Everyday they would all try and get more out of it. They tought his endowment, so far, was a bit useless and kept trying to make it grow. Jazzy would happily not have an endowment, but he had one so he dealt with it. He was just glad it wasn't one that could be used for evil, like his brother used his.

Once Jazzy grabbed hsi cape he ran to the Assembly Hall and waited for the stat-of-term assembly to commence.

Hailey slipped off the Red bus and looked around. She was glad to be back at school, as she could finally see her friends again, and she got to do what she loved; play sports. The only downside was the fact that, being a girl, she wasn't given much credit for being good. She only seemed to shined in one-on-one, which they hardly ever played. But at least she was able to play and not be babysitting, for which she was grateful.

As she scanned the crowd, her eyes landed on a familiar face, Fiona. Fiona was her best friends and one of her few non-boy friends. She ran over to Fiona and hugged her. "Hey Fi! How was Summer?"

Johanna hopped off the bus, glaring up at the school where she was being forced to attend yet another year of. Couldn't her mother see that she hated it here!?

Sure, her parents were close to the Bloors, and it was the only school in the city which accepted Endowed children, but she would have happily gone to a school in another city, if it meant being away from this old draughty castle that called itself a school.

Slinging her bag over her shoulder and dragging her suitcase behind her, she shoved her way through the crowds of giggling and chatting students, trying to find someone she knew - or more specifically, someone she could stand.

Fi grinned broadly and hugged Hailey back tightly, squealing happily, euphoric at being back with her best buddy. "It's great to see you again, Hailey!" Fi said, tightly hugging Hail again. "Summer was great, especially as I now have news!" she said, breaking the hug so that she could look at Hail.

"Y'know how I was the only person in my family for several generations to not be endowed, just talented? Well... my endowment showed itself! I'm so excited! You would not have believed the look on Ma's face when she saw that everything in the room was floating and that it was nothing to do with her! That means I'll be with you and lots of the others in the King's Room from now on! I was so sick of being just me in the Homework times."

Fi grinned once more and hugged her best friend tightly. "Anyways, enough about me; what about you? You've grown since I last saw you! When we were last together, I was the taller of us two..." Fi said, putting on a fake grumpy expression and folding her arms petulantly.

Hailey was incredibly excited. At most moments of the day, the two friends were inseparable, and now they would even have homework together! "Okay, we have to sit together in the King's room. But that is so cool you have telepathic powers! I can imagine your mom's face would have been quite hysteric." she said, smiling.

"Me? Well, nothing much really. I babysitted the twins most of the summer, worked at the restaurant a bit, played some rugby and soccer, same old same old." Hail said shrugging. "But I am starting to think the twins may be endowed. I dunno why, just a feeling..."

"Same old, same old?" Fi asked, raising an eyebrow incredulously. "That is never a good thing," she said, grinning jokily and punching Hailey's arm lightly. "But it's so good to see you again," she said hugging her best friend tightly. "And the twins are endowed too? How? Don't get me wrong, but twins with endowments kind of scare me a bit, after what my ma told me about what those Branko Twins used to get up to back in the old days of this school."

Fi slung her bag messenger bag over her shoulder, unintentionally opening the front of her cape, showing what she had done to her uniform. It wasn't good, because she had been really bored and had started splattering it with paint and sewing patches and stuff onto it. Hastily she covered her uniform back up.

"Ma wasn't too pleased when she saw what I'd done to my uniform, but then again, she was one to talk, seeing as she did worse to her uniform when she came to this school back in the dinosaur ages!" Fi said grinning and putting her arm over Hailey's shoulder. "Come Hail, let us go and see our Dormitory assignments! I hope we're together again!" Fi said as the two began to walk their special walk together.

PrettyInPointe
05-12-2010, 11:13 PM
As they paraded along together, Hailey laughed. "The Branko twins will be in no comparison to these guys. They will be all mighty!" she said, laughing. "But I actually don't know how they are endowed. They would be considered early bloomers in the case, but they haven't actually done anything yet. They're just acting... strange. Like, my version of strange. And that is hard to do." she said, with an eye roll.

"Oh, and I like your uniform. It's very... you. Crazy. Perfect. Just hope no one calls you out on it... I'm really glad that the sports department doesn't really have to wear uniforms." Hailey said. They did have some limits. They had to wear athletic clothes so they could participate in their classes, and they had to have their clothes be black, or one of the departments' colors.

She ran ahead to the Dormitory assignment list, to see that she and Fi would indeed be in the same dorm. And most of her guy friends were in the dorm next to her too. That would be good, especially for sneaking out. She turned around, and practically ran over a boy standing there. "Oh my gosh! Lo siento mucho!" She cried, helping the boy up.

Fi followed Hailey to the dorm assignment list and was thrilled to see that the school had put the two together in the dorm. Hadn't they learnt from last years many antics, or were they really that stupid? Oh well, at least it meant that she and Hailey could cause so much trouble this year.

She was about to go and grab her suitcase and messenger bag from where she had dropped it when Hailey bowled into a boy, knocking him down. Fi recognised the boy, but she didn't know him, so she couldn't really be conversational. However, it was pretty comical and it took all of Fi's willpower to not laugh as Hailey started apologising rapidly, slipping into Spanish as she often did.

Tapping Hailey lightly on the shoulder, Fi murmured, "Erm, Hailey, I think I'm one of the few people who ever understands what you're saying when you're speaking in Spanish... I don't think he really wants to have a rapid apology in two languages..."

Johanna sighed as she looked over the Dorm lists. Nobody she knew in her room.

"Great..." she muttered sarcastically, walking along the corridor to the dorm. If there w

as no-one there yet, she might actually get first choice of a bed for once. As she aproached, she saw a boy and a girl sprawled out of the floor in front of the dorm door, with the girl frantically apologising in what sounded like a mix of english and spanish.

Ignoring the trio, she stepped around the two on the floor and walked into the dorm, not making eye-contact.

Jazzy had strolled along the corridors to check the new students and to see if he recognized any old faces, when he was practically ran over by some girl who had started apologizing in two different languages. Instantly he knew who had knocked him over and he wasn't happy about it.

Flicking some fallen hair from his face, Jazzy said, "A bit more excited to see me than you usually are, aye, Garcia?" He narrowed his eyes at her and at her gothic friend, before nodding to her, "Fiona."

Jazzy let Hailey pull him up before he dusted off his robes, and threatening, he said, "You're lucky I'm in a good mood, Garcia. That coudl have been a detention." he smirked, "I'll let you off with a warning. Not a good way to start the term, is it?"

"It's Fi," Fi said irritably at Jazzy Bloor, Head Boy. She really didn't like him, especially as he had dealt out several detentions to her, solely to the fact that she liked to be Gothic in the way that she was. Crossing her arms, Fi stared at Jazzy, glaring so hard at him that if looks could kill, not a single inch of his body would be seen through all the knives protruding from him.

"C'mon, Hail, we needn't waste our precious time on him. Only now I'm wishing you hadn't even bothered apologising to him."

"Not very nice," Jazzy replied, raising his eyebrows, "One would think that you would have more respect for authority by now. How does a first-week detention sound to you? For disciplinary purposes, of course. Little Fifi needs to be taught a lesson, after all." Jazzy smirked, knowing that he was irritating the crap out of Fiona and enjoying every second of it. He wasn't a particularly nasty boy, but he had been taught not to let people push him around and to stand up for himself, and so he did what he had to to quash those who thought they were better than him. And the gothic girl he was in front of him was a perfect example, "And what say you, Garcia? Do you want to join your little friend this Saturday?"

"Don't call her Fifi." Hailey said menacingly. "At least she doesn't have a girl name, like Jazzy. I mean, come on. What kind of a names is that?" She rolled her eyes. The Headboy wasn't her favorite person, and she had always been looking for the opportunity to give him a good whack in the head. And today just might be the day.

"How about no detention, considering I apologized, and you can call me by my first name? I'm assuming you're smart enough to remember from the countless times I've reminded you, but in case you can't, it's Hailey."

Thirrin Vertigo

"Ha! You're giving me a detention.... again." Fi said, rolling her eyes. She had had so many detentions, and it really didn't bother her, nor did it bother her mum too much, seeing as she was planning to meet up with some friends in the City that weekend. "Wow, that's really harsh, I have no idea what I might do." she said, sarcastically. It was only a Saturday, and Fi just loved getting up to mischief when in detention. It happened that often.

Grabbing her messenger bag and slinging it over her shoulder, she turned to go, not without looking over her shoulder at the head boy. "You know what you are? Weak. You're just a weak little boy who feels he has to pick on girls far younger than him to make himself feel big and mighty. I don't care if I sound impudent; I'm just speaking the truth."

Jazzy was quite shocked. No one got away with talking to him like that! he had to show the stupid little girls who was boss, "How dare you talk to me like that?! Detention! The whole weekend. We'll see whose laughing then. And I'll make sure that you won't have any chance to wonder off." He smirked, "And don't flatter yourself. You're both too pathetic for me to feel big for putting you down."

Satisfied with his response, Jazzy set off in the opposite direction to the girls. His name wasn't girly! How preposterous! Jazzy was blatantly a guys name. Everyone knew that. He was called it because he was good at music and music was masculine. Stupid girls, he thought darkly, I'll show them.

"Hey, you!" He shouted at a girl in the corridor, "Why are you just standing around? Now you're standing around looking at me? Detention!" Feeling not so much better, Jazzy walked off to his morning lesson, thinking bitter thoughts about the two girls.

Hailey rolled her eyes. She had gotten detention a lot last year, and it usually turned out to be fun. She started talking with Fi again, but then froze and stopped speaking mid-sentence. "Oh crap!" she yelled, then started running after Jazzy. "Jazzy, Jazzy wait!" she called. She grabbed her arm to pull him around.

"I can't have detention this weekend! My madre needs me to babysit my hermanos! If I have detention their going to be home alone, and that just won't do because they will be all alone or my mother will have to close down the restaurant for the weekend and we will lose the money we get on the weekend and weekends are our busiest times and if she closes it down it will be that much hard to pay the rent for our house and I just can't have detention!" She cried, her words flowing fast, her mind in scrambles.

Jazzy put on a sympathetic face and cooed, "Aw. What a shame." He then turned his face into a smile, "I guess I can revoke that detention and you don't have to do it ... I suppose that would be the nice, honorable thing to do."

He kept his smile on his face, turning it evermore sarcastic, "Sadly, I'm not that kind of guy. Oh snap." Jazzy turned around and started walking off again, "If you want to get off detention come to the Kings Room before everyone else gets there." Jazzy hadn't thought of a plan yet, but he had all day to think of something for the Garcia girl to do, didn't he? And he would make the chose for her very hard indeed.

"... Crap." Hailey said as she walked away. She wasn't fooled when Jazzy started being nice, since he never was to anyone, especially her. She sulked back to Fi, trying to form a backup plan in her mind. She was most likely going to be put up to some difficult or time-consuming task, and she was almost always behind on her schoolwork. It was better to have detention than have an F in all her classes. Or even worse would be making me miss my next game. Oh, I'm not doing that. she thought with a shudder.

Well, I'll think of something. she thought with a shrug. Fi would probably have an idea too. She would ask her later.

Johanna, after claiming a bed and setting all her belongings out, exited the dorm and sighed in frustration as the trio was still outside, blocking the exit. She stood with her arms crossed, watching the argument with a bored expression on her face.

"Hey, you!" He shouted at a girl in the corridor, "Why are you just standing around? Now you're standing around looking at me? Detention!"

"Yeah, nice to see you too, Jazzy." Johanna muttered sarcastically. "What, is a girl not allowed to look at ya anymore? And you're blocking the door, I'd quite like out thank you."

She looked at the two girls, straining her memory to put a name to their faces. Ah, those two goody-goody endowed girls - Fiona and Hailey.

"Ahem, anyone wanna move? I'm getting fed up of standng in the doorway!"

Jazzy voiced his opinions out loud, "What is with the girls at this school today? I get pushed over, yelled at, made fun of and I've not even had my first lesson yet. Bloody woman." Muttering darkly he entered his first lesson, away from the annoying chibbering of females. Then he remembered his music teacher was a female, "Pfff."

Jazzy couldn't concentrate on his lesson. He had to think of something for that stupid Garcia girl. Laps all night? Going into the ruin? A month of one-day-a-weekend detentions? Beheading? There were many possibilities, and all sounded quite good from Jazzy's point of view.

Fi was completely unfazed by the week's long detention that she and Hailey had been dealt by Jazzy Bloor and merely rolled her eyes and turned to walk into their dorm when she saw Johanna Vertigo, a moody, petulant teenager that Fi had absolutely no time for. Fi was most definitely in a defiant mood that morning and looked forward to winding Johanna up.

"Weeeelll...." Fi said, crossing her arms and leaning with one shoulder on the doorframe and her feet at the opposite corner on the floor, completely blocking the exit. "I could move out of the way...." she said, putting on a contemplative voice, looking around as though thinking hard about it. "But I'm going to have to say no. After all, you didn't say the magic word and manners are so very important." Fi said, looking patronisingly at Johanna, mimicking how she had once heard Johanna's mother speaking to her.

Johanna rolled her eyes and tapped her foot impatiently. "Lovely to see you've changed over the holidays... magic word, huh? Abracadabra? Alacazam?" she asked sarcastically, glaring at Fi.

"By the way, your uniform looks a mess. Better hope Jazzy doesn't spot that, or you're in for it, girlie." she smirked, pushing her way past the two girls and heading down the corridor, shaking her head.

Some people could just be so darn ANNOYING! Taking a few breaths to keep her temper under control, she absentmindedly started figeting with the ring on her finger.

Realising she had left her pencilcase in the dorm, she groaned inwardly as she realised the girls were still outside the dorm.

((Pip, I made up the name for the music head just in case he has an endowment. Please tell me if you want to change it to something else.))

Austin walked down the hall, dragging his trunk from up the staircase. Dr. Sunflame, the Head of the Music department, had asked him to take it back to his dormitory because another class needed the music classroom. As he passed Jazzy and a dejected Hailey, he felt a pang of sympathy for her. How could anyone have gotten detention so fast? He saw Johanna and Fiona looking defiantly at each other, and continued on to his dormitory, which was beside theirs.

He entered the dorm, its furnishings were just the same as last year, only tidier and cleaner. Grimacing, he selected a bed close to one of the windows and unlocked his trunk. Then he put everything he needed inside the bedside wardrobe, and kicked his trunk under the bed, smiling a little now, because last year, there was puddle of liquid under the bed that the matrons had missed.

Austin walked out of the dorm, wondering if he should hurry back to class before Jazzy Bloor finds him in the hallways. Maybe he could have a little welcome-back-to-school "stroll" first. Nodding to Fiona, Johanna, and Hailey in acknowledgement, he walked on.

Jazzy was not in class. He was lying on his back under one of the tables in the Dinner Hall, staring at the underside of the long Music table, absentmindedly twiddling his thumbs. He was brooding. It was a good thing to brood. Although, Jazzy's brother often said that when Jazzy attempted any kind of thinking it would lead to danger and an excess amount of smoke pouring out of Jazzy's ears. Jazzy laughed along with his brother when he mocked Jazzy's intelligence knowing that one day Jazzy would make him work under him. Jazzy just had to take over the world first. He had many theories on how to do this, most very silly. Possibly, the one most likely to work would be Jazzy's theory where he ruled with powerful spirit fingers.

Shaking his head at his own deluded silliness, Jazzy started thinking of alternative punishments for the Haily girl. It was frustrating considering her total lack of respect. Even more frustrating was her friend Fi. And Jazzy seethed, "Fi," Then it hit him and he smirked.

Pulling himself out from under the table, Jazzy was going to wander about with his smug smirk. He knew this would worry some of the students and hopefully he would find Hailey and she would see his smirk and he could worry her. Laughing evilly as he left the hall, Jazzy sped up his pace.

((That's fine Kalik.))

As Fi and Johanna argued, Hailey became rather bored. Seeing Austin passing by, she jogged a bit to catch up with him, then fell in step beside him. He was one of he wasn't in the sports department, but they had been friends for a long time. He wasn't friends with many people either, so Hailey felt kinda bad for him sometimes.

"Hey, Austin." she said. "How was your summer? Learn any new violin pieces?" she said. She listened as they walked, commenting every now and then, then stopped dead in her tracks. "Im atornillado." she said, sighing. She just passed Jazzy, who had obviously thought up a punishment for her. "That boy's got it in for me." she said, shaking her head. "Oh well, as you were saying."

Austin flashed a rare brief smile at Hailey, who popped up beside him, as his way of thanking her for being his friend when other people would either stay away from him or too scared to speak to him. He knew that she felt sorry for him, but he couldn’t really do anything about how others want to be, and he certainly didn’t want to care about the people who thought he was miserable, mean, stormy-boy.

He replied, “My summer... well, my brother took me on a 5-day camping trip. Also, I finally got my Diploma degree from the exam I took a few months ago, and I learned some concert pieces for solo violin to play at the audition for the Freadwardbobert'mchammerhimesmitopolis Youth Orchestra that’s taking place this coming weekend. Anyways enough about me now, what about your summer, and what’s with you and detentions?”

Leslie walked around a little lost and confused. The school was so big and she had no idea where she was supposed to be. She looked at the list of her classes but it didn't really help her much. She sighed and decided she would continue walking. Eventually, she figured, someone would help her out or she would end up in her class. She walked a little longer but then she tripped and fell. She got back up and brushed herself off, blushing a little with embarrassment.

Realising she had left her pencilcase in the dorm, she groaned inwardly as she realised the girls were still outside the dorm.

Fi was kind of offended by Johanna's dig at her uniform. Fi was a bit protective of how she was. She liked being different and her Mother had always encouraged her to be different and had always done the same. In a way Fi felt that whenever people took a dig at her dress-sense, it was like they were taking a dig at her Mother too.

Glaring after Johanna, Fi picked up her suitcase and dumped it on a bed close to the door. She had a slight fear of being caught in the dormitory when something bad happened at night. She wasn't the best in small spaces, either. That was why she had always preferred to be in a large, open space. Fi had all her after school clothes in her suitcase and other items that she wasn't really meant to have with her, but still came with her all the same.

Grabbing her sketchbook from her messenger bag, she began to sketch a bird that she had seen on her way to school. It wasn't perfect, seeing as she couldn't remember all the details, but she began to make it her own, creating a new bird.

Hearing footsteps coming towards the dorm, Fi looked up, expecting to see Hailey coming back in, but instead she saw Johanna coming back in, presumably to get something she had left behind.

"Oh, it's you." She said coldly, turning back to her sketches.

"Yes, it's me. What, were you expecting someone else?" Johanna snapped back, heading over to her bed near the window and pulliing her suitcase out from under her bed. She hadn't bothered to unpack properly - she would do that later.

Rummaging through till she found her pencilcase and stuffing the thing in her bag, she headed out the door, looking at the sketchbook in Fi's hands as she passed. She was drawing a bright bird, and Johanna thought that it was actually a descent drawing - she could see why Fi was in art, Johanna couldnt draw anything save stickmen - but of course, she couldn't admit that it was good out loud.

Simply sneering at the drawing, she strolled past the girl, hoisting her bag onto her back as she passed.

Fi merely scowled after Johanna and quickly finished her sketch. She would make it look nicer later, but for now she had to get to her class. Grabbing her messenger bag from the ground, she stuffed her pencil case, sketchbook and other artistic items into it and grabbed her timetable from the bedside table and saw that she had Art first.

Smiling as she shouldered her bag-strap, Fi jumped to her feet and ran into the corridor, heading for the DaVinci tower where all the Art Classes were held. As she ran, she rushed past Johanna. "Wotcha Grumpyface, the wind will change and you'll be stuck like that... oh wait, it's already stuck like that, my bad."

Fi ran on towards the tower when she saw someone looking lost and confused as they walked around the school. It was new person, that was certain.

"Hey, are you alright? You look a little lost. Do you need any help?"

Fi said as she quickly hugged Leslie and ran into the classroom where she took her place next to some kid that she didn't know and began to listen intently to the teacher. As usual, the first lesson was never anything arty, just a welcome back, rules and all the usual stuff.

After the hour-long lesson was over, Fi quickly grabbed her bag and was quickly out of the lesson, looking forward to going to History. It was her second favourite subject and one that she particularly excelled in, being greatly interested in everything that had happened in the past.

In an attempt to not get distracted, she looked at the ground the entire time as she walked through the corridors of the school, trying to get to History as quickly as possible without any distractions, but, of course, she walked straight into someone. As long as cyan could remember, either her mom or her grandmother told her stories of a school for “gifted” children. These kids had powers like illusion casting, picture traveling, and storm bringing. Some of them used there endowment for good, others used them for evil and greed. Even when they found out that she was endowed, she didn’t think that those stories were real. But how many castle schools could be named ‘Bloor’s Academy”? Weather the stories were real or not, she had a feeling she would find out.
The courtyard was deserted by now, school has already started, she was late and now it was up to her to find her way around the school. She shifted her bags on her shoulder and opened the large wooden door, wincing at it’s loud creaking breaking the silence. A tall muscular man with a bad hair cut steeped out into the hall way.
“you that new kid?” he asked cyan, she nodded slowly, mentally slapping herself for feeling so small, if she wanted she could make this guy cower and run to his mother. But she didn’t want to. Its not that she didn’t want to, it’s just that she just walked into the building, and it’ not a good way to start the school year.
But she didn’t have to worry about talking to anyone else for now, the guy returned to whatever it was he was doing and no one else was in the hall. She wandered around looking for something that looked right, she looked in some doors but know one could tell her where she needed to got. She looked at where a watch should be ,but of course she didn’t have one so she guessed. It’s only been, well, about an hour .
“well,” she muttered to herself “of all places to be with out a map, I chose this place.” she turned a corner fully expecting to find some medieval torture device, but instead it was a door with a green door frame. Then she remembered, the colors were important here. She was in music so she wore a blue cape, each department had another color, she had a feeling that the green door wasn’t going to help, but she heard voices and decided to give in a try.
She slipped in looking the source. The only two people,, that were in the hall were some distance away and she could barely hear them, but it looked like they were arguing. Both of them were girls, one girl looked very goth, wore an emerald green cape that seeped to sparkle a little, and her hair was a sight in Itself. Yeah, cyan has knows what multicolored hair looks like, hers was four different color naturally, -brown, red, blonde, and black,- but Goth Girl’s hair were unnatural colors-blues, greens, purples-, and fire engine red. The other girl also strange, she wore a non-sparkling purple cape, her hair was colorful too, it was indigo with black spots. Her clothes seemed mismatched and her face was animated with hatred and she was staring daggers at Goth Girl. But the thing that stood out most for Cyan, was the girls shoes. They were an old dirty pair of black converse lace-ups, they were like the ones Cyan was wearing but Cyan’s were a light gray color with blue laces.
From where Cyan was standing she was partly concealed from there view but just to make sure she wasn’t seen she slide behind the over hang of a large poster. The argument we really heated now, with a lot of finger pointing and glaring. Time to have a little fun. Cyan placed her index fingers on her temples, she pictured the two girls, she felt the emotions they were feeling right now, she thought of the emotion that gives you that warm fuzzy feeling that doesn’t really have a name, it’s a mix of happy, content,, and a few others, she knew when she was done and her ‘message’ got through because she felt her eyes rest, and it’s pretty noticeable, feeling your eyes. What they do can be scary to some people, that’s what she closes them. But when she peaked out around the poster the purple cape girl was just about to yell back when confusion crossed her face, the same thing happened with Goth Girl, they stuttered for a minute then the girl in the purple cape picked up the items on the floor and apologized hastily and walked away rather quickly.
Job well done. Cyan slipped back out and ran right into someone. And much to her relief she wore a blue cape and was the most normal person she has met yet. But still not “normal’ she was a little punk rocker-ish and had some streaks in her hair but one look at her bracelet and Cyan decided she was Ok . It was obvious she had good taste in music, she was also a ‘Vampire Zombies’ fan.
“um…sorry.” the girl said. She picked up Cyan’s book bag that she had dropped and smiled, “you’re a fan too? “ Cyan took her bag and held her hand out to the girl.
“Of course, they’re the best. “I’m Cyan by the way.”
The two shook hands, “I’m Ashley. I’m not trying to be rude, but you looked lost, are you new?”
Cyan sighed with relief. “Very lost. Can I be honest, with you, I would trade my endowment for directional sense any day.” Cyan chuckled a little, but Ashley’s face drew serious
“your endowed?” she asked.
Cyan, having be bullied because of he endowment one to many times stiffened and put on a serious face too, ready to make this girl fearful, but instead of the mean comment she was expecting, Ashley smiled.
“me too, Lets get to class before we get detentions.” The two wound their way around the labyrinthine of halls and class rooms talking about music and the school, and by the time Cyan reached her right class room she had the feeling that this school wasn’t so bad… that lasted about three hours…

Austin muttered a goodbye to Hailey and hurried off to his orchestra lesson with Dr. Sunflame. The Lead Conductor can be quite scary sometimes when people dawdle around in the halls instead of attending his class. Not to mention, if the school warden or the Headboy finds anyone loitering around, detention will most certainly be the consequence, not that Austin learned anything from his occasional detentions. One person in the Bloors family, he didn’t despise was the Headboy’s brother, or Jaz Bloor. He wasn’t exactly nice but Austin could tell that Jaz wasn’t the type to be forced to do something, like how he seems to be different from the rest of his notorious family and Austin admired that.

As Austin walked down a dim corridor full of evil looking people in portraits, he thought he heard someone behind him, but decided not to see who it is. Perhaps it’s just a mouse.
