Character Descriptions

Okay so I don't really read the Charlie Bone books and I'm interested to see how Jenny Nimmo 'painted' the characters in her books. This is a thread where you can describe each character in personality, appearance, etc... I will compile it all here in the first thread after we get lots of descriptions! So post away!

Ok this is my description if Joshua(my joint favourite character along with Manfred).

Joshua Tiplin is a chubby, button nosed little boy with greedy blue eyes and a snide mouth. His machiavellen yet rather opaque personality causes him appear rather lovable and cute at first glance. However, upon discovering his true colours, it is easy to ignore them, this helped by this adorable single dimple which appears whenever he smiles(which is most of the time). Despite this though, Joshua is severely misunderstood even by himself and is sadly under the influence of a cruel and evil witch. With proper love and care, Joshua could have become a very different boy.

[Dagbert Endless]

This is a description of the most amazing character of all; Dagbert Endless!

He has strong, chiselled features and is so utterly gorgeous that girls fall in love with him purely by looking at his sea-green eyes. His hair is shoulder-length and wavy (pfft, I made a funny!) and is green in hue. He usually wears it tied up in a ponytail. He is tall and, despite his pale pallor, spends a great deal of time outside and is very muscular.

Dagbert is the best villain in Bloor's Academy and is loved by everyone, even the goodies (especially one Olivia Vertigo).

Venetia Yewbeam: about 45ish has white skin, black hair that fold around her face like a ravens wings, she is evil and has 3 sisters and one brother all of witch are evil exept for the brother, she lives in 13 darkly wynd, she is the great aunt of charlie........ she bewitches clothes,and is good at tricking charlie she is the youngest sister and 2nd youngest child.

Eustacia Yewbeam:about 50ish has white skin,abundent grey hair that is often kept in a tight bun, she lives in a different 13 darkly wynd right next to her venetia's house (confusing right) she is 2nd youngest sister and 3rd youngest child she is Clairvoyant (meaning she can she the future and sometimes read minds) ................thats all I can think of.

Last time I checked, it was Paton who was in his mid-40s, not Venetia. Say Paton is 47. Then, Venetia would be 52, and Eustacia 57 (and Lucretia 62, and Grizelda 67.) The family tree in the beginning of the books is a wonderful thing. :D
