I think that the duck clue is a false clue. I mean a duck turning its head the oppisite way in a picture doesn't seem like it could be linked to anything. Also the cupboard clue may be false. I agree with Annie that Lucretia is probably putting fake clues in with the real ones, to try and catch us out. I think the picture with 2008 glasses is a real clue and it is the year 2008. I think we may need to wait for more clues to see if any link with the clues we've been given so far.

-old and new (middle ages man wearing modern day glasses)

-turning around or a subtle change; or two sides facing a confrontation (ducks)
-order out of chaos (shoes)
-something hidden being revealed (closet being opened)

Remember Tolly is in the Ruins so you need to think what is in the ruins and what you need for what is in the ruins of this forum (you get them in the clues!), if that makes any sense! Sorry I am not giving away much but I want everyone to have the fun of putting the clues together and finding Tolly themselves. :)

I'm willing to bet the one with the cards is a fake clue, and I don't know what to think about the boat on fire. Fire? Burning? *shrug*

But I think we're reading too far into it. If anything, the fact that the boat's on fire is probably the clue, seeing as it is such an obvious change.

Do you think the chess board was a fake clue it would surely mean meeting in the middle but there's no relevant threads in the middle of the ruins. It has to be a thread which you don't post on because I've gone on Sunlights recent posts and there's nothing there of any importance.

What I did was opened a word document and typed up all the changes in a list. Keep the change descriptions really basic, and try to pick out which ones are fake, like Sunlight said. After you think you have all the real clues, try to connect them, in a way. Sorry I can't say much, but I hope this helps! Good luck guys! :)

I wouldn't give up :) When looking at the pictures just remember that the change is the clue and also that using the advance search is much quicker than looking through every thread. Just think about what you need for a post in the ruins. Ohh and also don't think to much outside the box, it really is that obvious :)

I think there's mooooore than enough clues in this thread, with the pictures, but especially from the people who found Tolly. Just remember that Lucretia Yewbeam was not the sharpest tool in the shed, and any real clues she left herself would have been painfully obvious. And, as she said herself in another thread, she hid Tolly in the Ruins.
